Pool Grange is a beautiful Victorian Rectory sleeping 12 people, situated in a stunning canal side location with views across the rolling hills of Powys.
Having recently been a comfortable, well loved family home, Pool Grange is now available for others to experience as a self catering holiday let.
The size of the house lends itself perfectly to larger groups looking for a relaxing break in the beautiful Welsh countryside or somewhere to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends.
Pool Grange is wheelchair accessible with one ground floor bedroom having adjacent shower room. Access into the property for wheelchair users is via the Conservatory.

The gardens at Pool Grange are a wonderful place to relax and unwind and
are one of the house’s main attractions. There are terraces and lawns with water features throughout, including tranquil pools and babbling brooks. Also, there is a patio area with barbecue.
Pool Grange has a tennis court, with racquets and balls provided.

The picturesque Montgomery Canal is located at the top of the gardens and narrow boats can be hired locally.
There is plenty of parking around the house.


The spacious accommodation at Pool Grange ensures that large groups will not feel cramped. The accommodation is located on two floors with all bedrooms named after Welsh castles.

Wheelchair user access is available on the ground floor.
Ground floor accommodation includes the elegant Drawing Room, which overlooks the gardens and has an open fire, ideal for winter evenings. Logs are provided.
Pool Grange’s Dining Room is perfect for entertaining and comes alive with candlelight and twinkling chandeliers. After dinner why not relax in the Library or Conservatory which overlooks the beautiful gardens.


Situated on the Welsh/ English border, near the town of Welshpool, Pool Grange provides easy access to Snowdonia and the Welsh coast and yet is only 90 minutes from Birmingham and Manchester.
There are plenty of local attractions and breathtaking scenery to be enjoyed in this historical area, including the world famous Powis Castle and a Welshpool Llanfair Light Railway.

The surrounding Towns & Villages are some of the most beautiful in Wales there is a great sense of history and culture!
